Recovering

Kendall is now recovering on the step down floor. They are helping her get comfortable and control the pain. We hope she is able to get some rest through the night. Tomorrow we will begin to walk and strengthen her lungs so we can prepare to remove her chest tube.  Dr. D’Amico informed us he removed all of the tumors. We feel very fortunate the he is her surgeon. Thank you all for your prayers. Take care, The Baynes

Kendall, I predict you will ignore some of the pain and have a good night’s rest! When you awake in the morning, I further predict you will give your mom and dad a big smile and a thumbs up! Since you have done it before, you will approach walking with enthusiasm and optimism. You will speed up your rehab in efforts to get home to the strawberries. You might ask God: Why me? Perhaps He wants to test your faith, along with all your supporters’ faith. I believe we have demonstrated our faith with all our prayers, time, and support. Once that chest tube is removed, we can rejoice, rejoice and glorify His miracle. Prayers and blessings.

Good Saturday morning, Kendall! I hope you had a good restful night! You probably have had one stroll in the hallways by now! I’ll bet they had to hold you back from upping the tempo! After they remove the tube, it will be: Watch out! Here comes Kendall! I am going out for breakfast now. I will check on you when I return. Prayers and blessings!
