Kendall is doing great and enjoying her summer. She continues to get stronger and amazes us everyday with her courage and love for life. Keep Believing!
Thanks again for all of the love, support and prayers. God Bless Team Kendall!
So damn easy to say that life’s so hard
Everybody’s got their share of battle scars
As for me, I’d like to thank my lucky stars
That I’m alive and well
It’d be easy to add up all the pain
And all the dreams you sat and watched go up in flames
Dwell on the wreckage as it smolders in the rain
But not me, I’m alive. (Kenny Chesney)
We are glad to hear the good news–your family deserves a wonderful and relaxing summer. You remain in our thoughts and prayers.
When I think of Kendall and The Beach, I always remember the first time her Mom, Dad and I took her to the beach. She was about 15 months old. We just stopped the car before checking in & pulled up to a place to walk down to the waves with her. Dad set her down in front of the waves, Mom had the camcorder running thinking we will get her squealing, or jumping up and down clapping. She took off like a jet plane right into the next wave which rolled right over her. You can see the video camera fly up in the air and then go face down in the sand. We ran to her, hugged her, dried her off, talked to her “Are You OK, Honey”? She just smiled, broke loose, and Bam –again ran right into the next wave. She will do that a Million Times Over–take the next wave and the next and next. I love you Kendall with all my heart., Your Nana
