Wow! My company continues to help so many people by making a positive difference in the lives of others. Genentech is a world leading biotech company with multiple products that treat serious or life-threatening medical conditions and continue to develop promising products for unmet medical needs. They also give back by providing help to the patients and communities and continue to set the bar high for being a great organization. Genentech is now partnering with First Descents and have chosen Kendall and I to be a part of a small group to partake in this adventure in early August in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. First Descents offers young adult cancer fighters and survivors a free outdoor adventure experience designed to empower them to climb, paddle and surf beyond their diagnosis, defy their cancer, reclaim their lives and connect with others. Please visit their website (firstdescents.org) and support them in helping patients like Kendall. Thanks so much for all of your help and support. Keep Believing! Go Team Kendall! God Bless, JB

What a great, exciting trip you have coming! It is beautiful there in the Tetons and on the Snake River. You will see amazing sights, and it will confirm what a beautiful Country we are so fortunate to live in.
I have read about First Descents for some time now on your webpage link. I wondered if Kendall would be able to be involved with it at some point. What a wonderful opportunity for this adventurous Father/Daughter team. On a recent trip out West, Jackson Hole was at the top of our list. Breathtaking Scenery so different from Virginia and so refreshing. Much Gratitude and Thanks needs to be given to Genentech and First Descents for these awesome opportunities they provide to Young Adult “Fighters” to stay in the mainstream and with others of the group challenge the diagnosis of cancer while having so much fun. Love, Kendall’s Nana

Wow, Kendall, what a wonderful and enriching experience for you to share with your father. We need more giving companies in this world that reach out to real people and help them in the challenges they face and provide these unique opportunities. Hope you are having a great summer. You and your family continue to be in my thoughs and prayers.

Hi there. I can’t send the attachment but I have a pic of my mom and cousin in front of the Genentech logo. I will have to print it out. They walked 5 K today to raise money for a transplant walk and Genentech was one of the sponsors. My mother had both knees replaced this year and is almost 70 and she walked over 3K today so I was pretty proud of her.
