Summer update

K & K

We hope all of Team Kendall are having a great summer. Kendall just started a week of radiation (cyberknife), and following this procedure will begin another course of targeted therapy. She has been enjoying the summer and continues to stay strong through all of the challenges. Thank you all for the continued support and a special thanks to Dr. Fintel and Dr. Buck.  Hang in there Kenny, we are so proud of you.

We Love you.  Mom, Dad and Connor.

It is so good to hear about Kendall again, I think about her so often and pray every day for her. I hope this week of going through radiation will not be too harsh on Kendall. I am so glad she has been able to enjoy the summer.

This is the invasion of Normandy. The enemy has withstood countless attacks and not been vanquished. Now in July of 2014 her tumors have meet their match. Dr Buck will lead an air assault with Cyberknife to the largest camps. The other two drugs will starve the little ones and simultaneously lead a search and destroy mission using her own powerful immune system. We all pray that The Lord blesses this latest assault with supernatural power and the absence of side effects. All you dutiful and loyal prayer warriors I ask you to commence at once to enlist the Heaven’s to descend on her cancer.

HOW BEAUTIFULLY STATED!! MY DADDY WAS IN THE CLASS OF ’44 at the USNA. Graduated in ’43 as they pushed them through due to the war, but gave them the year they should have graduated. ANYWAY, DR. FINTEL, he was in the Invasion of Normandy and your analogy was WONDERFUL!! Kendall is one of the strongest people I’ve EVER MET!! Scott Groves is a great friend of the family and WE PRAY A LOT + It is so heartwarming to know how very much you care, pray, and love <3

      • Carol Groves says:

Deep in my heart, you dear lady – high school graduate – I gave Scott your picture from the paper for a poster in his shop – and he was happy!! We are ALL in this TOGETHER with you, GOD, PRAYERS, DOCTORS and your FRIENDS and FAMILY!! Believe me, I hear the big guns loading – and smiling 🙂

  7. Roy Dwyer says:

Praying for the surprise attack to be successful and bring and end to this war! Kendal is the strongest soldier we know and the most humble, graceful one at that! You all are constantly in our thoughts and prayers! It’s from your experience and others that the phrase carpe diem means so much! Live life to its fulliest!! Dr. Buck and Dr. Fintel may God’s hand guide yours as you go to battle!

  10. Joyce Ellis says:

Kendall, you are a Beautiful, Strong, Brave Girl, who has fought the battle well, stayed the course. Dr. Fintel, I will address you as General Fintel, in response of your ability to “Rally The Troops” with this new Medical/Military Plan. All of ‘Team Kendall’, her Family and Friends are united in Prayer and Support. I know the Heavens will surely Bless this effort.

Kendall, We Love You More Than Could Ever Be Known. Nana and Frank

Kendall, a day never passes that you are absent from my thoughts and prayers. I met a man in Kroger today who saw my bracelets. He stated that he went to school with your dad. I told him that your dad is “Father of the Year”–he agreed. He also stated that you are “beautiful”–I agreed. Let’s pray that you will maintain your courage and determination and the new treatments will not dim the brilliance of your trademark smile. Prayers and blessings for you and your family, Al

I still wear my purple Team Kendall shirt in Lexington, Kentucky. And when people ask about it I tell them all about my sweet, beautiful girl and how she is loved and prayed for by so many people! Now they are praying, too! I hope this treatment will be gentle but effective. Sending you love and prayers! Nancy Northern
