Bluegrass Benefit

Kendall & Al Wilmer

Thank you Harry Cannady and Bud Dunbar for organizing a great night of bluegrass music. It was so good to meet and talk with so many nice people who wanted to come out and show their support and love for Kendall. With the 800 plus tickets that were sold, Team Kendall continues to grow in support and prayers to help her win this fight. Special thanks to the bands of Rusty Breedlove & Twisted Wires, Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice, Adam Steffey & The Boxcars. Thank you to Dewey Peters for the sound engineering & a heartfelt thanks to Linny Whorton for gracing us with his wonderful music. All of the bands provided incredible music for our benefit. Thanks also to Cave Spring High School, Jeff Banks of Banks Insurance Group, Krogers on Brambleton Ave., Lowes Home Improvement on Rt.220 and Staples Office Supplies for your generous donations. For all of the volunteers that made this event a huge success, we appreciate your hard work. Thanks again for everyones support, you all are giving us HOPE for Kendall to be cancer free and to continue to Fight Like A Knight!

God Bless You All & Happy Holidays, The Baynes

Kendall, I posted my comments under “Guestbook.” A great night!

Hi, Kendall! You made me look good in that picture! I did not realize it would be there so soon! I should have known better, since you are an active person who does not procrastinate. I am really proud to be in your company. You might have thought that I was just doing a one-night stand. I have more plans for your support. I wear my Team Kendall T-shirt with my jacket open to give it exposure. You just keep fighting! God, your other supporters, and I will be right there with you. I will be eagerly awaiting God’s reward for our faith! Is there anything I can do for you or your family (running errands, etc.) or your other events? Best regards to your family!

Kendall, I put a piece of snail mail in the post office this afternoon addressed to you at your home. It might arrive tomorrow–Friday for sure. I hope you are having a good evening. Best regards to your family.
