Home and Resting

Kendall finished her last infusion on Saturday and was allowed to come home to recover. She has handled this first cycle pretty well other than the typical nausea associated with chemo and being exhausted. She is receiving a pretty tough regimen to kill these cancer cells. Thanks again to our medical team at Carilion for taking such good care of her during her stay. She continues to amaze us with her strength and positive attitude. Even though she has a long road ahead, we keep envisioning her destination of being cancer free. Kendall, stay strong, keep believing, you are doing great. You have so many people cheering you on. Go Team Kendall.

We Love you! Mom, Dad & Connor

Kendall, I am elevated in spirit by your atitude, courage, and optimism. I am sure you are using your trademark smile to ward off any discomfort of the side effects of the treatments. Know that your Team Kendall supporters have your same confidence and beliefs that you are going to be victorious. It appears that it will take awhile for you to be whole again but we will remain patient along with you and “have your back” to use today’s jargon. Prayers and blessings for the family, Al

We want you to know you have been on our church’s prayer list every Sunday for the past year and we believe in the power of prayer. Our church is Lake Waccamaw NC Presbyterian. You are an amazingly strong young woman-keep up the fight. You couldn’t remember us but we remember you and your brother when we visited our daughter, Heather Mabe. They lived across the street from you. You were such a sweet little friend to Jake. We are all pulling for you.
